A 4-year-old boy identified as David has reportedly met his untimely death after he was allegedly given injection by a nurse in a hospital while he was on an empty stomach.
According to reports, the incident occurred in an hospital in Ogombo, Ajah area of Lagos State on Saturday 24th September 2022 when the young boy lost his life as a result of the injection he was given.
The parents of the young boy revealed that their son was admitted in the hospital on Friday 23rd September because he suffered from cold and catarrh. The boy was responding to treatment ans was due to be discharged on Saturday evening.
However, one of the nurses in the hospital administered injections on the young boy on Saturday morning despite the parents’ warnings that they preferred the boy to eat something before he is given the injection.
“As at 6am this morning he was alive. We even told the nurse that he hasn’t eaten. The boy was even requesting for food on his own. The nurse did not listen, she just injected him four strings at once. Immediately the boy passed out and she ran away“, the parents said.
“The hospital has refused to bring her out, they said she has handed over. Before we could say anything, they called police on us and it’s not like we were violent or anything. We need help, we need justice for David, the nurse intentionally injected him to kill him. No body from the hospital is talking to us,” they added.
